Sorry for the lack of replies everyone! It’s been a busy few months with my new office move, and my second office opening in the burbs.

I’m writing this from my new Blackberry Tour…. I’m driving to the office for some late night conference calls with my overseas clients…well, not just yet. I’m sitting in the parking garage writing this to you (please — don’t text and drive!)

Here’s me, driving to the office at 1AM. Compliments of my Blackberry (don’t you love technology)

More updates to come soon…I promise!

PS – Congratulations to my newest student, Brad! Your success story will be posted up soon :)

Tomorrow, I’m heading back out to Vegas. My favorite city in the world. Something about the lights, the women, the gambling…so much fun and relaxing. I feel more relaxed in Vegas than I do at my own house…and I live in a penthouse suite with an elevator and 4 hot tubs!

So I went to Bank of America to pull out some cash this morning. I  have bank accounts with B of A, Chase and Wells Fargo. I hate the thought of keeping all my money at one bank. As I usually do, I planned on using my amex centurion card for most of my play. But I can’t remember the last time I used CASH to buy things…literally. I’ve been using this piece of plastic (in this case, titanium since the black centurion card is made out of titanium) to make my purchases since I got it last year…I can’t remember what it’s like to carry cash anymore, and I miss it! cold hard cash….Before I started my business, I didn’t have too much money so I just had about 20 bucks in my wallet most of the time….today, I feel like I have an endless amount of cash in my wallet because of my centurion card…but I really do miss the good old days of using cash to pay for things. No more swiping. Just throw down a piece of paper and say, “thanks — keep the change!”

So I decided to pull out cash for my entire trip. No black card this time. I just feel like spending strictly cash money this time around. Should be fun :)

I withdrew $50,000 in hundred dollar bills from my business bank account. Pretty much all my earnings from the last 2 weeks. The teller had to fill out some forms, and copy my driver license to send to the IRS. I guess there’s a policy that if you take out more than $10,000 in cash, they have to notify the IRS to make sure I’m not dealing drugs and buying nuclear warheads. For those of you that haven’t bought my ebook yet, go to www.jasonslevinn.com and buy it! Nothing beats the feeling of withdrawing 50 grand in cash. I want you to experience it someday. It’s the ultimate “I’ve made it” feeling.

Especially when the bank teller is a drop dead gorgeous blonde, and her jaws literally drop to the floor while she’s counting all my money, and flirting with me at the same time…it’s fantastic. I have to admit, it was pretty fun!

So here’s my gambling/drinking/food/entertainment/strip club money for my weekend trip to Vegas!

50k for my vegas trip this weekend

So people always ask me what I drink at home. I’m a champagne person. For those of you who haven’t tried Dom Perignon champagne, I highly recommend it. I’m not a big drinker but I’ll usually have one bottle a week, on Saturday, to kind of “finish off the week.” Of course, if I have something to celebrate, a few of my friends join me and one bottle turns into 5 bottles. But I prefer Dom Perignon Vintage 1975….a great year, and very rare to find them. I tried it about a year ago, and filled up my cellar with them — my new condo has a wine cellar, which is not as big as my old place, but I’ve managed to make them fit. They go for about $800 a bottle, but it’s well worth it! Now that I think about it, I probably spend at least $4,000-$6,000/month on Dom Perignon! Well, if I couldn’t afford it, I would be drinking Coors Light instead…

It’s good to be rich :)

So after renting for almost 5 years now, I finally got my own place. I’ve always believed in not being tied down to one place, since I never know where I’ll be. There’s something liberating about just renting and not being tied down too much or too long to something. I’d pay the years rent in full, and get a great discount of course, and rent the nicest penthouse condo I could find. I love being high up in the air. I love highrises, and I hate houses. Something about being elevated is very peaceful. A little expensive (even for me) but hell…business is better than ever and clients are looking for more websites than ever before…business is booming and why not spoil myself?

Anyways, after renting and wasting well over six figures on renting properties, I finally decided I should buy a place. With the housing market the way it is, I was able to negotiate about $200,000 off! How could I resist! For anyone saying there’s a recession going on out there — there’s just one place this recession didn’t hit; the web design industry. It’s booming and I’m making more money, and my friends, my students, we’re all making more money than even before the dot com bubble! I’m looking forward to having a little house warming party next week, after I buy some new furniture and such…some of my students will be stopping by too to share their success stories. Shoot me an email at jason@jasonslevinn.com if you’re in the Chicago downtown area and want to stop by! I always love meeting my students!

Like I teach in my eBook, you gotta “work smart” not “work hard.” This is what following my system will get you — enjoy!

PS – For anyone who asks, YES, that IS AN ELEVATOR in the last picture. My penthouse is 2 floors (3 including the rooftop), and although I will never use it, my place does have an elevator and yes, it does rock…

For most of us, all we hear on TV is the recession this, recession that. Be that as it may, there is damn well no recession going on in the web design business. As more and more people are getting laid off, they are turning to the internet — starting internet businesses, learning more about the internet, creating and launching new websites, blogging more…you name it…and what do all these folks have in common? They need companies to make their websites! And putting down a few grand to launch a new website is not a lot of money compared to other investments…people are lining up to hire me and my freelancers are keeping very very busy!

I highly recommend getting into this business — check out my ebook to learn more!

A few days ago, I received my Black Card from American Express. It came in a black box via FedEx Next Day Air. I haven’t used it yet, but I do plan on going for a shopping spree for a few new suits later today with my Black Card! I’ve heard I will be getting VIP treatment anywhere I use my black card, so I’m sure I’ll have some stories to post up!

And in case you are wondering, yes that is a TV in the bathroom mirror. But no, it’s not mine! I’m traveling in Vegas at the moment, staying at the Penthouse Platinum Villa at the Palms, and they seem to have TVs everywhere…even in the hot tub :)

Make sure to check out my eBook and maybe you’ll get a black card too some day!

So I got an interesting call this morning from American Express. I’ve been spending a lot of money on my Platinum Amex Card the last few years. As my web design business continued to grow, I was paying more and more of my freelancers on my Amex card. I would  highly recommend it to all my students as well. It’s easy and Amex has the best points system in my opinion. I can make back literally 2-3 percent cash of all my purchases. Last year I charged about $320,000 on my Platinum, and got enough points to buy a brand new 50″ Sony Plasma, a Nikon D90, and a lot of beer money :)

Anyways, Amex called to congratulate me because I had been approved for the Centurion Card, aka Black Card. I accepted the invitation and I should be getting a welcome package soon. I’ll post some pictures when I get a chance!
